Javier Carbone Sarmiento (Violine, Mentor)
Javier Carbone completed his studies at the Conservatory Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig and at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz under the guidance of Professor Anne Shih.
He owes much of his success to his former tutor Olga Vilkomirskaia, who managed to forge an unbreakable connection between Javier and his violin at an early age. For this reason he made it several times to the Bundesfinale at Jugend Musiziert Competition, where he was also a laureate.
He has works with several orchestras in Germany and Spain, including the Symphony Orchestra of Castilla y León, Staatskapelle Halle, Mitteldeutsche Kammerphilharmonie and Philharmonisches Kammerorchester Wernigerode, Staatstheater Mainz and Heidelberg Theater.
As a soloist, he made his debut at the Gewandhaus concert hall in 2017 playing Mendelssohn's violin concerto in e minor with the Camerata Bayres. He regularly performs as soloist and concertmaster with the Mainzer Virtuosi Ensemble and has been invited to perform in several music Festivals in Spain, Italy, or Germany.
He is currently artistic assistant of the Mainzer Virtuosi Ensemble and the Festival Musiktage am Rhein.
